Who WILL BE receiving text payment reminders?

All members on a Cash/Coupon Payment type will receive the text.

When will members receive a text payment reminder?

5 days before the scheduled due date as a reminder of an upcoming payment.

When will members receive a payment past due reminder?

5 days after the scheduled payment due date as a reminder that a payment is due.

If a member makes a payment by ACH when will that payment post to their loan?

Message Pay generates only 1 ACH file per day at 4 A.M. Payments initiated before midnight will be posted the next business day. Payments initiated after midnight and before 4 AM will post that same business day. Payments initiated on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Federal Holiday will post on the following business day.

If a member makes a payment using their card when will that payment post to their loan?

Payments made by Debit or Credit Card before midnight will be posted the next business day. Payments initiated after midnight and before 4 AM will post that same business day. Payments initiated on a Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Federal Holiday will post on the following business day.

Is there a fee for this service?

Each payment processed will receive a processing fee of $4.99.

Can a member change the amount of the payment they want to make?

Yes, use the link to go to the message pay site and edit the amount of the payment.

  • One-Time Loan Payment from another Financial Institution to a CRFCU Loan processed by phone – $10.00 Fee
  • One-Time Loan Payment from another Financial Institution to a CRFCU Loan processed by the member in Home Banking – $Free
  • Card Payment processed over the phone – $10.00 Fee
  • Cash/Check payment – $Free
  • Recurring Auto Transfer from another Financial Institution to a CRFCU Loan (set up by CRFCU or the member in Home Banking) – $Free
  • Payroll Deduction – $Free
  • Auto Transfer from a CRFCU account to a CRFCU Loan – $Free
  • Shared Branching Location – $Free
  • Mailing in a check – $Free
  • Night Drop – $Free
  • Mobile Check Deposit – $Free (*Note – deposits can be made to a checking or savings account and then the member would have to contact us to transfer the funds over to make the payment)
