Message Pay 

It’s Easy to Use

Community Resource Federal Credit Union offers an option to pay your loans that is easy and convenient to use.  Our Message Pay for a loan option makes it possible to securely pay your loan and stay on top of your payment due dates. This is a fast, straightforward, and efficient way to pay for your loan and help prevent the possibility of late payments.

01 Message

You’ll receive a text message with a reminder that you have a payment due.

02 Link

The message contains a link to a secure payment portal.

03 PIN

You will be prompted to set up a 4-6 digit security PIN for entry to portal. 

04 Payment Method

After setting up a PIN, you will be prompted to enter a debit card or ACH method of payment.

05 Make Payment

You are now able to make a payment on your loan from the desired payment method.

How It Works

  • You will receive a text message alerting you that payment is due.
  • Message contains a link to a secure payment portal.

3. PIN

How It Works

  • After clicking the link provided in the initial message, you will be taken to the browser on your phone.
  • You will be prompted to create a 4 – 6 digit PIN.
  • This PIN is subsequently used to login to the portal for any future access.

4. Payment Method

How It Works

  • Upon creating a PIN, you will enter the portal where you will be prompted to add an external payment method (Debit/ACH).
  • You can add multiple methods and select which method is your “default” payment method.

5. Make Payment

How It Works

  • After adding the payment method(s), you can now make a payment on your loan.
  • Loan information is shown on the Payment tab to let you know which loan you are paying.
  • Upon selecting “Make Payment Now,” a confirmation screen is shown to confirm that the user wants to make the payment with the selected method.

Confirmation

How It Works

  • A confirmation screen will appear after the payment has been made.
  • This includes the amount paid, and they are given a reference number.
  • If you return to the portal, you can view the payment history for payments that flow through MessagePay.
